Poland stops arms supplies to Ukraine. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. According to the head of government, the reason for this decision lies in the active rearmament of the Polish armed forces themselves.

“At the moment, our country is at the stage of active rearmament and modernization of its military forces. For this reason, we can no longer transfer weapons to Ukraine.”, Morawiecki emphasized during the press conference.

However, sources in the Polish government claim that by the end of this year Warsaw plans to transfer to Kiev the remains of Soviet-made fighters that are no longer used by the Polish Armed Forces.

Despite the fact that Kiev did not comment on Morawiecki’s statement, it is obvious that Ukraine began to have serious problems due to the lack of arms supplies. Moreover, in Ukraine it is believed that Poland’s actions are caused by the emerging political conflict between Warsaw and Kiev.
